Seeking more info about Kombucha... Go to our primary web site. Question of the day; Does Kombucha Tea really work? Answer is...Absolutely yes! If it didn't improve health why have millions of people keep drinking it and preparing it, for over two thousand years. About KombuchaKombucha is a carbonated tea-based drink that is often drunk for its health benefits or medicinal purposes. There is scientific information supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies are being conducted mainly due to the expense of such medical studies. There are several centuries of anecdotal accounts telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available in stores but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also often popularly referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not really a mushroom. It forms on the surface of the fermenting tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and looks like a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of numerous): Testimonial - Interstitial Cistites, Menopause, Bladder: "Interstitial Cistites is a weird spelling but a real crippling condition that affects many women in America. I had suffered from this condition for about 20 years. I've taken the tea for many months and not only got rid of menopausal symptoms, Osteopenia (don't have to buy Actonel anymore) but I also have increased my bladder capacity almost to an 4 hour period (consider normal for my age), besides I no longer have the burning pain on the bladder wall. I think this is the greatest thing in the world... E.O."
