Question of the day; Does Kombucha really work? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it didn't improve health why have millions of people keep drinking it and brewing it, for over two thousand years.

About Kombucha

Kombucha is a invigorating tea-based drink that many drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific info supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the cost of such studies. There are many centuries of popular accounts supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold in stores but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a solid mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also most often referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not really a mushroom. It forms on the very surface of the tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and looks like a whitish colored pancake.

Testimonial (Just one of a large number):

Testimonial - Osteopenia (Bone Pain) and Heart Problem: "I was suffering from osteopenia a precursor of Osteosperosis. My pain was nothing short of unberable. I got the tea for my husband's kidney stone. We both drunk the tea and about the second day of usage I was pain free, completely. I am giving this testimonial not because I like to write "testimonials" I am extremelly busy person, but it is a matter of conscience. My husband's faulty calcium metabolism was responsible for formation of kidney stones and heart problems. To make it short, our lives had been changed in a matter of one week regimen with this tea. I drink 4 full glasses a day. My husband drinks two... E.M."

Kombucha Tea safe?

Most ask this question because are aware that some mushrooms are toxic or they have been misinformed about Kombucha. Kombucha is not a mushroom it is not poisonous. People only call it a mushroom, it is not a mushroom.

Kombucha has been used for health improvement for over 2000 years and is now being sold in food and health in the USA, far less expensive to make it yourself.

The tea does improve health but it is not a drug. The FDA has found this remarkable tea to be a safe beverage if it is correctly prepared in a clean manner so as not to become contaminated by common food pathogens. All foods that you prepare can become contaminated but the risk is probably less so for Kombucha because it is a fermented drink which as it ferments it produces a small amount of alcohol helping to protect it.

No one has ever died from drinking correctly prepared Kombucha Tea and millions drink the tea daily and have done so for over 2000 years. One thousand people a year die from taking aspirin, so which do you think is safer!

Kombucha Tea is a fermented beverage and , but then again some few people might be sensitive to any number of different things. A reaction is usually just a skin reddening or itch.

Kombucha Tea is acidic but no more so than wine, orange juice, or grapefruit juice, unless it is permitted to ferment too long in which case it becomes more sour. Drinking Kombucha Tea wil not change the pH level of your blood unless you were to huge amounts of the tea when it is sour, this would not be a smart thing to do, drinking huge quantities of anything is usually not a wise thing to do.

A Kombucha mushroom could develop a mold but this is not common. Most common such molds are harmless but they can spoil the taste of the tea. This limited problem can be easily prevented by keeping the fermenting tea properly covered and if it should occur is easily detected and you simple make a new batch of tea."]
