Question of the day; Does Kombucha really improve health? Answer is...Absolutely yes! If it didn't improve health why would millions of people keep drinking it and preparing it, for over two thousand years.

About Kombucha

Kombucha is a effervescent tea-based drink that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific data supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies are being conducted mainly due to the cost of such medical studies. There are many centuries of popular accounts telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold in stores but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also often popularly referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not really a mushroom. It forms on the surface of the tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and looks like a whitish colored pancake.

Being a nurse I figured I was beginning to have a urinary tract infection. I did get feverish and just plain felt bad. I was whole foods in texas and saw the bottle on the shelf. I just bought it not knowing what to expect. I will tell you this within 48 hrs that pain was gone and my urine is clear. I know this is what did it. I love my tea...
