Desire more information about Kombucha Tea... Go to our main web site. Question of the month; Does Kombucha Tea really improve health? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it didn't improve health why would millions of people have kept drinking it and brewing it, for over 2000 years. What is KombuchaKombucha is a delicious tea-based drink that many drink for its health benefits or medicinal purposes. There is scientific data supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies are being conducted mainly due to the cost of such studies. There are several centuries of popular stories supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold commercially but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also most commonly referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not really a mushroom. It forms on the surface of the fermenting tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and looks like a near whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of numerous): Testimonial - Skin: "I've been using kombucha since Sept. 09 and am noticing improvements in my skin... I don't bruise as often, and my skin looks fresher. I also have more energy. I make kombucha in many flavors; using four regular green tea bags and four green tea with pomegranate or mango or other flavors. It is delicious! ... E.A."
