Need more info about Kombucha... Go to our main Home Page. Question of the week; Does Kombucha really work? Answer is...Yes! If it didn't improve health why have millions of people keep drinking it and making it, for over 2000 years. What is KombuchaKombucha is a invigorating tea-based beverage that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal purposes. There is scientific info supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies are being conducted mainly due to the cost of such studies. There are several centuries of anecdotal stories supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold in stores but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This forms the kombucha culture which is also often popularly referred to as the "mushroom" although it is not a true mushroom. It forms on the surface of the fermenting tea while the tea is fermenting and resembles a near whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of hundreds): Testimonial - Feeling of Well Being: "My boyfriend, grandma and I have just recently started drinking K tea and we are in awesome moods. My grandma is going to cut back on the meds that she is on and see what happens. She says she feels great and wants to continue with it. As for my boyfriend and I we have had great days since drinking (Kombucha). I feel like it has evened out my mood and emotions. At first we were not sure if it was the tea and now we are sure of it. Anyone we know we are telling about this wonderful tea. Try it you have nothing to loose!!!... M.L.M."
