Seeking more information about Kombucha... Go to our primary web site. Question of the month; Does Kombucha Tea really improve health? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it didn't improve health why would millions of people have kept drinking it and making it, for over two thousand years. About KombuchaKombucha is a effervescent tea-based beverage that is often drunk for its health benefits or medicinal purposes. There is scientific information supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies are being conducted mainly due to the cost of such studies. There are many centuries of popular stories supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available in stores but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This forms the kombucha culture which is also referred to as the "mushroom" although it is not a true mushroom. It slowly grows on the surface of the tea while the tea is fermenting and resembles a near whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of a large number): Testimonial - Endometriosis, Dandruff, Menopause, Sleep: "I received a Kombucha culture in the beginning of December and my family has been drinking the tea. My sister has endometriosis and is usually in constant pain especially at that time of the month but now she is nearly pain free. She also tells me that her dandruff problem appears to be easing. My mother has been going through menopause and now that she's using the tea, she's been able to eat chocolate again without getting a hot flash. I was recently in a car accident and although I'm doing fine, I haven't been sleeping well. Now that I'm drinking the tea, I can sleep through the night. That's all for now. I'll update later... J.L.H."
