Need more information about Kombucha... Go to our main web site. Question of the week; Does Kombucha Tea really work? Answer is...Absolutely yes! If it did not help to improve health why have millions of people keep drinking it and brewing it, for over two thousand years. Description of KombuchaKombucha is a delicious tea-based drink that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific information supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the expense of such medical studies. There are several centuries of popular stories telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available commercially but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a solid mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This forms the kombucha culture which is also referred to as the "mushroom" although it is not a true mushroom. It grows on the surface of the fermenting tea while the tea is fermenting and resembles a near whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of a large number): Testimonial - Aging: "I've shared Kombucha mushroom cultures with many people over the passed 25 years. We drink some everyday. I am 76 years in Dec and my husband is 80 years next April. People do not believe our age because of our looks and our energy level. We love life and try to use those things put here on earth for our health. Thank you!... F.H."
