Seeking more information about Kombucha Tea... Go to our primary Home Page. Question of the day; Does Kombucha Tea really work? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it didn't improve health why would millions of people keep drinking it and making it, for over 2000 years. About KombuchaKombucha is a carbonated tea-based drink that many drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific info supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the expense of such medical studies. There are several centuries of anecdotal accounts supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available commercially but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also often popularly referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not really a mushroom. It slowly grows on the very surface of the tea while the tea is fermenting and looks like a near whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of dozens and dozens): Testimonial - Acne, Skin, Energy, Depression, Hair growth, Weight, Digestion: "I'm in love with my kombucha tea! It has cleared up my acne, given my skin a beautiful glow, filled me with energy, erased my depression, sped up my hair growth, controlled my appetite, and aided my digestion. I drink 4 oz in the morning upon waking, 8-12 oz throughout the day, and 4 oz before bed. After making 1 gallon of the tea, I pour it into empthy glass Snappple bottles and store it in the fridge. I want everyone in my life to make this drink a part of their lifestyle!... K.W
