Question of the month; Does Kombucha Tea really improve health? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it didn't improve health why have millions of people have kept drinking it and brewing it, for over two thousand years.

What is Kombucha

Kombucha is a delicious tea-based drink that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific info supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the cost of such studies. There are several centuries of popular accounts supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold in stores but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also most often referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not a true mushroom. It forms on the very surface of the tea while the tea is fermenting and looks like a near whitish colored pancake.
