Want more information about Kombucha... Go to our main web site. Question of the month; Does Kombucha Tea really work? Answer is...Yes! If it didn't improve health why would millions of people have kept drinking it and preparing it, for over 2000 years. What is KombuchaKombucha is a delicious tea-based beverage that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific data supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the cost of such medical studies. There are many centuries of anecdotal stories supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available in stores but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a solid mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also often popularly referred to as the "mushroom" although it is not a true mushroom. It grows on the surface of the tea while the tea is fermenting and looks like a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of hundreds): Testimonial - Osteopenia (Bone Pain) and Heart Problem: "I was suffering from osteopenia a precursor of Osteosperosis. My pain was nothing short of unberable. I got the tea for my husband's kidney stone. We both drunk the tea and about the second day of usage I was pain free, completely. I am giving this testimonial not because I like to write "testimonials" I am extremelly busy person, but it is a matter of conscience. My husband's faulty calcium metabolism was responsible for formation of kidney stones and heart problems. To make it short, our lives had been changed in a matter of one week regimen with this tea. I drink 4 full glasses a day. My husband drinks two... E.M."
