Desire more information about Kombucha Tea... Go to our primary web site. Question of the week; Does Kombucha really work? Answer is...Yes! If it did not better health why would millions of people have kept drinking it and preparing it, for over 2000 years. What is KombuchaKombucha is a carbonated tea-based drink that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific information supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the cost of such studies. There are many centuries of anecdotal accounts supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available in stores but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a solid mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also most often referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not really a mushroom. It grows on the very surface of the tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and resembles a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of a large number): Testimonial - Candida: "I used the tea for about four years several years ago, and gave many of the cultures away. I was having a terrible time with apthous ulcers in my mouth. They were extremely painful, and would be very hot and feverish, swollen and irritated. I have had as many as nine at one time. I started drinking the tea and the ulcers stopped and were gone within the first week. I had one that had been in my mouth for about two months and was very deep and feverish. It just disappeard. My culture died after we moved across the state, and I couldn't find another one. I am so excited to be getting another one! I am hoping this one will help me lose weight. I will let you know... S.L."
