Want more information about Kombucha Tea... Go to our primary web site. Question of the week; Does Kombucha really improve health? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it didn't improve health why have millions of people keep drinking it and making it, for over two thousand years. What is KombuchaKombucha is a carbonated tea-based drink that is often drunk for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific info supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the expense of such medical studies. There are several centuries of popular accounts telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold commercially but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a solid mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also referred to as the "mushroom" although it is not really a mushroom. It slowly grows on the surface of the fermenting tea while the tea is fermenting and resembles a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of a large number): Testimonial - Energy: "I must say, I am quite impressed with my brew. The mushroom that grew was thick and hardy. The taste was incredible. After several days of drinking it, my energy has returned... A.T."
