Want more info about Kombucha Tea... Go to our primary web site. Question of the month; Does Kombucha really work? Answer is...Yes! If it did not help to improve health why have millions of people have kept drinking it and preparing it, for thousands of years. About KombuchaKombucha is a effervescent tea-based drink that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal purposes. There is scientific information supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the cost of such studies. There are many centuries of popular stories telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold commercially but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also referred to as the "mushroom" although it is not really a mushroom. It slowly grows on the surface of the fermenting tea while the tea is fermenting and looks like a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of a large number): Testimonial - IBS, Colitis, Chrons: "I just came across my previous testimonial from June 10, 2001 "I had Inflammatory Bowel Disease for ten years. I tried many alternatives... " Now it's June, , and I'm still symptom free. No doubt for me that Kombucha is effective against I.B.D.(Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's). Now I've learned more about the cause of I.B.D. and how Kombucha cures it. If you're interested, search for "Mycobacterium Avium Tuberculosis. Short version: it causes I.B.D. and Kombucha kills it. Not Kombucha pills or Kombucha tea bags, but authentic, fermented Kombucha tea... B.P."
