Need more info about Kombucha Tea... Go to our main web site. Question of the week; Does Kombucha really work? Answer is...Absolutely yes! If it did not help to improve health why have millions of people have kept drinking it and brewing it, for thousands of years. Description of KombuchaKombucha is a delicious tea-based beverage that is often drunk for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific information supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies are being conducted mainly due to the cost of such medical studies. There are many centuries of anecdotal stories supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available commercially but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a solid mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also often popularly referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not a true mushroom. It slowly grows on the surface of the tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and resembles a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of many): Testimonial - Skin: "I've been using kombucha since Sept. 09 and am noticing improvements in my skin... I don't bruise as often, and my skin looks fresher. I also have more energy. I make kombucha in many flavors; using four regular green tea bags and four green tea with pomegranate or mango or other flavors. It is delicious! ... E.A."
