Question of the week; Does Kombucha really work? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it did not better health why would millions of people keep drinking it and preparing it, for thousands of years.

Description of Kombucha

Kombucha is a invigorating tea-based drink that is often drunk for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific info supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the cost of such medical studies. There are several centuries of anecdotal stories telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold in stores but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This forms the kombucha culture which is also most commonly referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not really a mushroom. It slowly grows on the surface of the tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and looks like a whitish colored pancake.

Testimonial (Just one of hundreds):

Testimonial - Insomnia, Pain Relief: "I was very impressed with the expediency of the order. It came within a few days. The instructions are easy to follow. I am making it in large glass apothecary jars with a paper towel and elastic over the top . Then I put a dark pillow case over the whole thing. It works great. We're on our 3rd batch. Amazed at how quickly we had results! My husband has been suffering for years with non-healing rib fractures and within a day, the pain subsided significantly. He doesn't want to jinx it but, he thinks that this may change his life! I have had insomnia forever and I'm now sleeping like a rock. Recommending your company to all of my friends... Should I be worried about the safety of Kombucha?

Most ask this question because they have heard that some mushrooms are toxic or they have been misinformed about Kombucha. Kombucha is not a mushroom and it is not poisonous. People only call it a mushroom, it is not a mushroom.

Kombucha Tea has been used as a health remedy for over two millennium it is now being sold in food and health in the U.S., it is a lot cheaper to make it yourself.

The tea does improve health but it is not a drug. The FDA has found Kombucha Tea to be a safe beverage provided it is prepared properly in a clean way so as not to become contaminated by pathogens. Any food that you prepare can become contaminated but the risk is probably less so for Kombucha as it is a fermented drink and as it ferments it creates a small amount of alcohol which helps to protect the tea against pathogens.

Nobody has ever died from drinking correctly made Kombucha Tea and millions drink the tea daily and have done so for over two millennium. One thousand people a year die from taking aspirin, so which do you think is safer!

Kombucha Tea is a fermented beverage and , but some few people might be allergic to any number of different things. An allergic is usually just a minor skin blush or a minor.

The tea is acidic but no more so than wine, orange juice, or grapefruit juice, unless it is permitted to ferment too long to a more sour condition. Drinking Kombucha Tea wil not change the pH level of your blood unless you were to very large quantities of the tea when it is very sour, this would not be a smart thing to do, drinking very large quantities of anything is hardly a smart thing to do.

A Kombucha mushroom could develop a mold but this is not common. Most common such molds are not harmful but a contamination can spoil the taste of the tea. This minor problem is easily avoided by keeping the brewing jar properly coveredKombucha is not known to counteract negatively with most all prescribed medications.

There is nothing that is naturally dangerous about this amazing tea; it is a delicious and safe beverage that can will improve health!
