Want more information about Kombucha Tea... Go to our primary Home Page. Question of the week; Does Kombucha Tea really work? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it did not help to improve health why would millions of people have kept drinking it and brewing it, for over two thousand years. About KombuchaKombucha is a invigorating tea-based beverage that many drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific info supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the expense of such studies. There are several centuries of anecdotal accounts telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold in stores but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a solid mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also referred to as the "mushroom" although it is not really a mushroom. It slowly grows on the surface of the fermenting tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and resembles a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of dozens and dozens): Testimonial - Arthritis, Energy, Longevity: "Hi, I personally have used kombucha for about ten years. I have found that my skin is softer and that I rarely get sick. As I aproach the age of forty, I find that my energy level hasn't gone down. The biggest thing I notice is that I no longer suffer from arthritis. Allso, I have given it to my dog, whos life expectency for the breed is around 12 to 14 years... she lived to almost 19 tears of age and was energetic and young. I would urge everyone to decide on brewing there own Kombucha... and do so by dealing with Kombucha America... R.L.S."
