Our body is a machine for living. It is organized for that, it is its nature. Let life go on in it unhindered and let it defend itself, it will do more than if you paralyze it by encumbering it with remedies. ~Leo Tolstoy |

If it didn't improve health why would millions of people have kept drinking it and preparing it, for thousands of years. About KombuchaKombucha is a carbonated tea-based beverage that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific information supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies are being conducted mainly due to the expense of such studies. There are many centuries of popular stories telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold commercially but can easily be made at home by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This forms the kombucha culture which is also most commonly referred to as the "mushroom" although it is not really a mushroom. It slowly grows on the very surface of the tea while the tea is fermenting and resembles a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of hundreds): Testimonial - Scarlett Fever: "I used KT a few years ago , but my culture died and I couldn't find a replacement, until I learned to use the internet; anyway, I had a family of five in my household at the time and three of us contracted Scarlet Fever, the two that didn't get it were drinking KT. ...
