Desire more info about Kombucha Tea... Go to our primary Home Page. Question of the month; Does Kombucha really improve health? Answer is...Absolutely yes! If it did not better health why would millions of people keep drinking it and brewing it, for over 2000 years. What is KombuchaKombucha is a delicious tea-based beverage that millions drink for its health benefits or medicinal reasons. There is scientific info supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the cost of such medical studies. There are several centuries of anecdotal stories telling of health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is available commercially but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a solid mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This produces the kombucha culture which is also most commonly referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not a true mushroom. It grows on the surface of the fermenting tea during the period of time the tea is fermenting and looks like a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of a large number): Testimonial - High Cholesterol: "I was very pleased to find that you are still selling Kombucha. I took it for years and felt great but stopped a few years ago after listening to someones advice that I should have ignored. Kombucha is the only thing that helped my high cholesterol dropping it 40 points in a short time. I am looking forward to feeling good again. Thanks!... P.W."
