Want more information about Kombucha Tea... Go to our main web site. Question of the month; Does Kombucha Tea really improve health? Answer is...It absolutely does! If it did not help to improve health why have millions of people keep drinking it and preparing it, for thousands of years. What is KombuchaKombucha is a invigorating tea-based beverage that is often drunk for its health benefits or medicinal purposes. There is scientific data supporting health benefits but unfortunately few studies or have been conducted mainly due to the expense of such studies. There are several centuries of anecdotal accounts supporting health benefits attributed to the tea. Kombucha is sold commercially but can easily be prepared by fermenting tea using a spongy mass of yeast and bacteria often nicknamed a SCOBY. This forms the kombucha culture which is also referred to as the "mushroom" but it is not a true mushroom. It slowly grows on the very surface of the tea while the tea is fermenting and looks like a whitish colored pancake. Testimonial (Just one of a large number): Testimonial - Interstitial Cistites, Menopause, Bladder: "Interstitial Cistites is a weird spelling but a real crippling condition that affects many women in America. I had suffered from this condition for about 20 years. I've taken the tea for many months and not only got rid of menopausal symptoms, Osteopenia (don't have to buy Actonel anymore) but I also have increased my bladder capacity almost to an 4 hour period (consider normal for my age), besides I no longer have the burning pain on the bladder wall. I think this is the greatest thing in the world... E.O."
